For Y-Combinator Assessors

Good day Y-Combinator team,

I would like to demonstrate a prototype of the thinking method which is called "CAM-IDEA". "CAM" stands for "Cognitive Association Mapping". In Scenario below, I am demonstrating how the person has a complex, tangled, messy idea that they can't put together.

Scenario 1 - A highly organized, well-meaning corporate professional who wanted to launch a side-hustle but didn't know how to begin:

"Okay, so I have this idea for a sustainable bamboo desk organizer company, but according to page 43 of my digital planner, I need to define my ideal customer's favourite childhood memory first, and then page 88 says I need a 5-year scaling matrix for manufacturing, but I'm also thinking maybe it shouldn't just be desk organizers, maybe it should be an entire eco-friendly lifestyle ecosystem with subscription boxes, but then how do I track my daily mindfulness habits alongside my quarterly revenue projections on the hyperlinked calendar layout because the tabs keep lagging on my tablet, and honestly I just wanted to help people clean up their cluttered desks but now my entire brain feels like a cluttered desk and I don't even know if I should buy the matching digital stickers or just give up entirely..."

Execution:

To bring this idea into the workable medium, I used 3 methods that I designed for this particular "CAM-IDEA" thinking method:

1) Anchor Evaluation
2) Anchor Extraction
3) Anchor Compression

And after that, it was easy to work on this idea, because we have reached a clarity of what was idea in the first place.

Each Step needs to be marked in order to execute in correct order:

Closure:

The end result was to create a Desk Organizer and Desk Organizer app that would link together. There will be a few possible monetization options:

1) connect app to the marketplaces, Amazon, eBay and similar places. When purchase confirmed, the idea creator would get a percentage of sale from the items that would be needed for Desk Organizer.
2) Desk Organizer could be created in the different forms and shapes, the idea creator could connect manufacturers from Alibaba for example and similar places and either change percentage of sale or licence his app to other office furniture manufacturers.
3) Desk Organizer app could be licenced as well or designed as add-on to work with any office furniture manufacturers or consumers.

The process of execution of this idea is showing that even the most complex and tangled ideas could be executed in an easy and structured way, following my methods. Since humans are performing better by constant repetition, the repeating steps inside diagrams 1-4 are necessary to eliminate confusion and extra noise.
